I hope you are all going well!
I am just going to start this week by saying my nice quiet January turned into a crazy busy one & there are a lot of things going on right now. I am going to do monthly update blog posts & I am going to keep on with the wedding blogs... & the meal prep blogs are coming (because... my goodness did we make some food!). But there just might be a little delay. I am also starting a new job on Monday (both exciting & nervous) - so once I settle into that, we will be back on track!
This week is a short & sweet post to re-share a post I read recently about wedding trends for 2019.

You can find the original post on the Junebug website here.
Things that are apparently in this year (along with my first thoughts) are:
- The colour rust (we can all imagine how ginger person like me would look with rust... haha)
- Dramatic florals & bold setups (bye bye minimalism! I think this is a little extra, & very expensive to pull off here in Australia, but it does look amazing)
- Getting married at Airbnb venues (I love this; definitely be careful about the rules each venue has around events & parties though)
- Moroccan vibes (hello rugs, lanterns, cushions & bold colours!)
- Hats for the bride (I would love to know how you feel about this one. I, for one, don't dig it)
- Velvet (just nope! Not for me haha)
- Painted cakes (some of these are cool... I think they look at bit messy for my taste)
Are you doing any of these things for your wedding?
Were you doing any of these anyway, before they were on trend?
Until next week!
Hx
