I love the tradition of having a work Christmas party; not so much to celebrate Christmas, but more to round out the year & have a celebrate the great year just gone.
This year, I ended up having 3 work Christmas parties!
The first was last Friday; this was the whole company party, for which we went on a harbour cruise. It was a lovely afternoon & just nice to hang out with everyone. Did get a little sunburnt, but all good!
The next was the party for SUVA. I helped organise this one; we had it at Australian Museum, in the Westpac Gallery. Such a fabulous venue! Really enjoyed this - Court & I learnt a lot of the man who had some skulls etc. for people to touch & learn about. Loved it.
The last was this afternoon, with just my main office team. Really cool little place in Glebe called The Charleston. So delicious. I really enjoy hanging out with my team any way, but it is lovely to just get out of the office for lunch!
I think for work parties to be a success (in my opinion), it's nice to go somewhere super casual, not have any awkward forced fun games & definitely no dressups! Haha.
